The DR series are robust and durable amplification solutions for installation or for live sound. Anywhere where ‘bang for buck’ reliable power is needed. 

The DR4800 and DR6000 deliver powerful performance and exceptional durability, housed in a robust 2U steel chassis.
For 4 Ω setups, the DR4800 provides 2500 W per channel, while the DR6000 delivers a stronger 3150 W per channel, offering the power needed for demanding audio environments. 

Connection options are solid, with XLR inputs plus Links and speakON ™ outputs to ensure reliable connections. Input sensitivity is adjustable (0.775V, 1V, or 35dB), giving the flexibility to match the system’s requirements. Both amplifiers also maintain a wide frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 KHz, keeping sound quality clear and distortion-free (THD < 0.05%). 

With advanced cooling systems and protection circuits against short circuits and overheating, these amplifiers are built to handle high workloads with ease and reliability. Perfect for professionals seeking consistent performance and durability.

Massive transformers

DR series are built around a massive heavy-duty toroidal transformer. This transformer delivers the ability for rapid burst power, which leads to improved dynamics.

Protection

An DR series amplifier features comprehensive protection circuitry. This ensures that no matter what problems might exist with external cabling, AC power or loudspeakers, the amplifier will protect itself, and its surroundings.

Front panel LED’s give immediate and clear feedback to the situation. Should an external fault occur, the red LED ‘Fault’ light will illuminate and the amp will go into Protection mode. A rear panel ‘Breaker’ button is then available to reset the amplifier once the external fault has been diagnosed and removed.

Handy ‘Clip’ LED’s are also visible from the front panel. Even from a distance, its simple and clear to see and understand the status of the amp.

Around the back of the DR are the balanced inputs and outputs along with configuration switches.

A handy feature are the 2 x XLR link outputs which allow for easy ‘daisy chaining’ of multiple amps – removing the need for external patching or excessive cabling. Around the back is also the input sensitivity switch selectable between 0.775 V, 1 V and 35 dB.

The main ‘Bridge / Stereo / Parallel’ mode switch is also on the rear. STEREO mode makes the two channels work independently. CH1 input signal goes to CH1 output and CH2 signal goes to CH2 output.

In BRIDGE mode the CH1 output is used with the described pin out +1 = + / +2 = –
This is controlled by using the CH1 volume control.

PARALLEL mode makes CH1 input signal go to both CH1 and CH2 output sockets. The input socket of CH2 has no effect. The channel volumes can be adjusted independently.
