With the Misha, Eventide continues to turn the heads of Eurorack fanatics and musicians of all kinds with an innovative, exciting, and inspiring approach to composition. This interval-based instrument/sequencer forgoes the standard fixed-pitch approach by changing notes according to the number of steps ascended or descended from the previous one. As a result, you'll be met with incredibly dynamic melodies and phrases, helping to push the boundaries of your creativity in ways never imagined, with three different options for making sound in the form of MIDI, control voltage, or outputting waveforms via the onboard audio jack. Its tone-row-based sequencer is reminiscent of the techniques used when composing serial music; thankfully, Eventide ensured the Misha comes loaded with plenty of easy-to-use controls to alter your sound without needing compositional knowledge. Synthesists were happy to find plenty of inputs and outputs for easy integration into their current Eurorack setups, such as clock division for crafting dynamic rhythms, CV inputs for trigger and control sources, CV outputs and MIDI for polyphony, and so much more. The Misha even includes a Micro-SD card for saving and loading scales and settings of all kinds right out the box. Catch a glimpse of the future of Eurorack composition with the Eventide Misha!
Plenty of factory scales to get you started
At first glance, the Misha may seem daunting to novice and even veteran Eurorack users due to its one-of-a-kind design and compositional approach. To ease any trepidation, Eventide loaded the Misha with 100 factory scales and additional slots for up to 100 custom scales of your choosing. Once you settle on a sound to add to the toolbox, saving it to one of 18 user presets is a breeze, with a quartet of user-assignable buttons to further fine-tune the Misha to your needs.
