The API Select TranZformer GTR Guitar Pedal incorporates API’s legendary EQ circuit into a versatile and compact guitar effects pedal. Designed to easily fit on your pedalboard and engineered to run on standard 9V power supplies, the API Audio GTR offers ±15 dB of gain on three specific frequencies.
Additionally, the gain stage can be switched from Clean Boost to Overdrive mode to drive the input OpAmp and add even more tones to your arsenal. Other features include a buffered bypass, -20 dB output pad, selectable peak/shelf for upper frequency range, transformer output, and of course the classic API sound.
BOOST AND EQ PEDAL WITH THE CLASSIC API SOUND
When you plug into the TranZformer GTR, the first thing a user sees is the pedal's variable-gain preamp. Filled with classic API character, this preamp includes a Gain knob with roughly 0dB to +40dB of gain, offering more gain for more boost or overdrive. The Mode knob can toggle between an undistorted Clean Boost and an Overdrive mode that helps drive a 2510 op-amp into saturation. Guitarists love the TranZformer GTR's Output Pad, which offers a -20dB pad on your output.
The TranZformer GTR is an API EQ and can fit on any pedalboard! The TranZformer GTR Boost Pedal can be configured as an undistorted clean boost or even as an overdrive that pushes this stompbox's 2510 input amplifier into a full saturation. Users can also get a guitar-optimized three-band equalizer for classic API-style sonic sculpting. A muscular-sounding transformer output can put the final sonic stamp on this guitar effects pedal's iconic API sound.
